Fotofast History
Fotofast was started in 1990 by Phil &
Caroline Gresham and today is still in the same location, although its size has
been expanded on three occasions. Fotofast has always been at the leading and
sometimes "bleeding edge" of retail and commercial photographic printing
technology.
Quality First - Service Always is Fotofast's
way they do business.
Fotofast was the first in Australia to
introduce whole roll scanning to disk in 1997 and sending and storing images on
the internet in 1999, products way ahead of their time. In 2001 Fotofast set up
Fotofast
Display offering posters, backlit
transparencies and banners in all shapes and sizes. Specializing in
small run high quality display products with design, mounting and
laminating facilities. Fotofast Display is located in the 'dungeons' of the
Myer Centre.
In 2001 Fotofast began
offering digital photo ordering in store, using a photo ordering kiosk, the
first in Queensland. Today it has 17 kiosks, a large number by world
standards, so there are no queues at Fotofast. In 2007 we installed the
latest in 1 hour bound photobooks and many other
photo creative
products now with 8 customer operated, easy to use, "Creation Stations" kiosks, yet again a
Queensland first.
