Artwork should be supplied where possible in Macintosh format to the
following specifications:
• Do not include trims or bleed.
• Artwork created at 300dpi in proportion to the final output size.
• Files supplied as native InDesign or Flash cannot be opened.
• Files supplied or originated in Windows programes such as Word,
Excel, Publisher or Powerpoint cannot be used.
• If supplying on disc, CDs only are accepted and these are not
returned unless requested.
Preference one
Press ready (300dpi) PDF with all fonts outlined.
Preference two
Vector art Illustrator CS1 EPS files with all graphics linked and fonts
outlined. Currently we are unable to open CS2 or CS3 files.
ALTERNATIVELY
Artwork can be created by Fotofast Display using supplied material from
the client.
Supplying elements for artwork
Individual elements should be supplied to the following specifications:
• All photos in JPG format at 300dpi (remember how big the final output
size will be and assume anything under 1mb in JPG will be too small).
• All logos as vector art EPS files (do not supply BMP, JPG or TIF files
for logos).
• We prefer everything as an email to display@fotofast.com.au
If designing your own material, we output in all the traditional sizes
such as A4 (210x297mm) all the way up to A0 (840x1188mm) and beyond. Our
workflow is based on a module of 300mm up to 1200mm wide x any length.
If you are designing your own material, send us an email first and we
can usually offer tips and advice so that the final output is
economically sized.
